Whether you run a dance school, a theatre school, a performing arts academy or a musical theatre group — your students need to look the part. In class, in rehearsals, at exams, on stage and beyond. We make that happen.
From branded hoodies, t-shirts and joggers to costume bags, backpacks and barrel bags — everything can be customised with your school’s logo and colours. We supply dancewear from leading brands including Roch Valley, Bloch, Silky Dance and Capezio for dance schools, and a wide range of performance and rehearsal clothing for theatre and performing arts groups.
We work with schools and groups of all sizes — from small local studios and drama groups to larger performing arts academies with hundreds of students. Every single order is printed or embroidered in our Nottinghamshire workshop, with the same care and attention whether you order five items or five hundred.
The easiest way to manage it all? Set up a club shop. Parents order and pay online directly, we handle everything, and your school earns 10% commission on every sale — including dancewear and branded accessories.

Every show deserves a keepsake
Show merchandise your whole cast will wear — and remember
End-of-year productions, school shows and performances are highlights of any performing arts school’s calendar. We make the merchandise the easy part — for dance schools, theatre groups and performing arts academies alike.
We offer two ways to order — whichever works best for your school:
🎭 Option 1 — School order (most popular)
You collect sizes from students and parents, we invoice your school directly, produce everything in one batch and deliver it all together. This is the most cost-effective method and gives you complete control:
• Include the t-shirt or hoodie in your show fees — no extra cost to families
• Keep the price as low as possible for parents
• Add a margin to help fund your school or group
• Or maximise your commission
Our top tip? Make the show t-shirt or cast hoodie compulsory and use it in your finale. Every performer on stage in matching branded clothing looks incredible, parents love it, and it becomes a keepsake. It’s also brilliant marketing — every photo shared on social media shows your brand.
🛒 Option 2 — Club shop order
Parents and students order individually through your online shop — great if you prefer families to manage their own purchases. You still earn 10% commission on every sale.
✏️ Free design support included
Already have artwork or a logo for your show? We’ll help you tweak and prepare it ready for print — completely free of charge. We don’t design from scratch, but we’ll make sure what you have looks its very best.

Why uniform matters more in performing arts than almost anywhere else
Ask any experienced dance teacher, drama tutor or performing arts principal and they’ll tell you — the moment a student puts on their uniform, something shifts. Their posture changes. Their focus changes. They step into character — not just as a performer, but as a student who is here to work, to grow and to be part of something. This isn’t just anecdotal. There’s real psychology behind it.
🤝 Belonging & identity
When every student wears the same branded hoodie, leotard or cast t-shirt, they stop being individuals who happen to attend the same class — they become part of something bigger. A company. A family. A team.
This sense of belonging is one of the most powerful forces in performing arts education. Research consistently shows it:
• Improves engagement and motivation in class
• Builds self-confidence and resilience — especially important before performances
• Reduces anxiety and self-comparison in the studio or rehearsal room
• Encourages students to stay longer and commit more deeply to their training
In performing arts, where students regularly face nerves, self-doubt and the vulnerability of performing in front of others, that sense of belonging to something isn’t just nice to have — it’s essential.
🧠 The performance mindset
Psychologists call it “enclothed cognition” — the idea that what we wear directly affects how we think and behave.
A student who arrives at class or rehearsal and changes into their school uniform is performing a mental ritual as much as a physical one. They’re signalling to themselves: I’m here. I’m focused. I’m ready to perform.
Schools and groups that take uniform seriously consistently find that students:
• Arrive more prepared and on time
• Show greater respect for the rehearsal space
• Focus faster and engage more deeply
• Take direction and feedback better
• Work harder and push themselves further
🏆 Professional standards from day one
Performing arts is a discipline. Whether your students are learning ballet, musical theatre, drama or contemporary dance, it demands precision, dedication and respect for the craft.
A school that takes uniform seriously sends a clear message to students and parents — this is a professional environment with high standards.
That reputation:
• Attracts more serious, committed students
• Retains students for longer
• Commands higher fees and greater respect in the community
• Earns the trust of parents who want the very best for their children
• Prepares young performers for the professional world — where presentation, discipline and appearance matter enormously
🎭 Consistency on stage, on screen and in exams
When all students wear matching branded clothing — in class, at exams, in rehearsals or in the production finale — they look like a cohesive, polished company rather than a collection of individuals.
For parents watching from the audience, that image is powerful and memorable. For judges and examiners, it signals a well-run, professional school. For prospective students and their families seeing photos online, it tells them everything.
Our advice: make the show t-shirt or cast hoodie compulsory and use it in your finale or curtain call. Every performer on stage in matching branded clothing is an instant, unforgettable image — and free marketing for your school in every photo that parents share online.
⚖️ Levelling the playing field
One of the most overlooked benefits of uniform is what it removes.
In a studio or rehearsal room, where confidence is fragile and self-comparison is constant, uniform levels the playing field:
• No student feels underdressed or overdressed
• No parent faces pressure to buy expensive clothing their child has chosen
• No distraction from what everyone else is wearing
• Everyone looks the same — and the focus returns to where it belongs. The performance.
The bottom line
Uniform isn’t just clothing. In a dance school, theatre school or performing arts academy, it’s one of your most powerful tools for building:
✓ Confidence in every student
✓ A genuine sense of community and belonging
✓ Discipline and respect for the craft
✓ A professional reputation that parents recommend
✓ A school or group that students stay loyal to, year after year
The schools that take it seriously — where the principal leads by example and uniform is celebrated rather than tolerated — are the schools that thrive.
A tip from us to you
The most powerful marketing tool you have — is you
The schools and groups that sell the most merchandise aren’t the ones with the biggest budgets. They’re the ones where the principal, artistic director or lead teacher leads by example — and their students follow.
What makes the biggest difference:

👕 Wear your branded clothing every single day
Every class, every rehearsal, every show, every parents’ evening. Make it your uniform — not just for special occasions. When students see their teacher or principal in school kit every week, they want to wear it too. They want to feel part of the team.
👥 Get all your staff wearing it too
Teachers, dance assistants, drama tutors, chaperones at shows — everyone. A consistent, branded team looks professional and proud. It tells students and parents that this is a school worth belonging to.
📸 Be intentional with your social media
When you post photos of students in class, at rehearsals or performing, make sure they’re wearing their branded clothing. Parents see it, share it, and start asking where they can get it. Every photo is an advert for your shop — and the best adverts are the ones that don’t look like adverts.
🔗 Put your shop link everywhere
In your Instagram and Facebook bio. On your website homepage. In every newsletter and email. At the bottom of every WhatsApp message to parents. Make it impossible to miss — the easier it is to find, the more they’ll buy.
