Why should I use Ruddy Duck Printshop?

Ruddy Duck Printshop was established to fill a gap in the market, producing high quality merchandise, at a reasonable cost, in quick timeframes. Our focus is on customer service and building long term relationships with our clients to give them the best experience possible. We specialise in full colour prints and heat transfer vinyl prints across a range of items to suit all budgets and requirements, from small bespoke orders to larger production runs.

What is Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV)

HTV is a material that can be cut to any shape, design or size and used to decorate anything from T-shirts, jumpers, bags and just about any other type of fabric. The Vinyl design is then fused on to the garment using a heat press. HTV is high quality and long lasting and excellent at adding personalisation to many products. All HTV prints are STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified which means they contain no harmful chemicals and are free from Phthalate and PVC and safe for all ages. We have a huge range to chose from, from solid colours, Glitter, metallic, flock, extra stretch and more. Don’t worry we can help you chose the best option. There is no minimum order for using HTV. You could order a one-off bespoke item!

What are Full Colour prints

Our prints can replicate millions of colours and gradients. We can print almost any artwork, even the most complex pieces while maintaining very fine detail. The full colour print is then fused on to the garment using a heat press. All our full colour prints are produced on recyclable PET transfer paper. Not only that but we use Eco-Friendly Water-based inks which are OEKO-TEX® Class 1. This means they are safe for children and infants. The minimum order for full colour prints is as little as ten pieces. However, we can do special orders if required.

How much is Postage?

For single items there is a flat fee of £5 for postage and packaging. Larger orders may incur additional charges. If you are local, you can also collect your items from us or may be able to pick them up from your local team or club if they have a page on our website.

What is your returns policy?

As all our items are hand printed to order and generally personalised, we do not accept any returns. Please ensure you have checked the size guides before ordering and double check your order before making payment. If any items are faulty or damaged we will of course replace these, like for like with a new item.

Are your products safe?

Yes we use water-based inks without any harsh or toxic chemicals. All our full colour prints are also produced on recyclable PET transfer paper. Not only that but the inks used are Oeko Tex Class 1 inks which means they are safe for children.

How long are your lead times?

Usually 2 weeks from payment to shipment, however if you are working to a deadline, for example a show or holiday club, contact us as soon as you can to get the ball rolling.

Can I provide my own garments for you to print?

Yes, you can provide your own clothing or items to be printed however we will accept no liability for the item. Some fabrics are not suitable to be printed and if errors happen it is at the expense of the client.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, we have full public liability insurance.

Are your products sustainable?

We can provide Vegan, organic and recycled clothing and accessories, all our prints are Oeko Tex certified, and we can even provide vegan Heat Transfer Vinyl.

Are you prints durable?

The washability of our prints is excellent and if you follow the care instruction will still be looking good after 50 washes.

Do you provide samples?

You are welcome to purchase unprinted samples to check you like the style, colour and size prior to printing. These can be returned to us at your expense if you go ahead with an order and would like them to be printed. Unfortunately, we cannot return any items to the supplier for a refund.

What are your payment terms?

Payment must be made in full at checkout, once payment has been received your order will be processed and sent to you usually within 2 weeks. If you have requested a quote and received an invoice you can pay by bank transfer.
